Friday, Friday
Going away this weekend-- I won't be posting anything long 'til next week.
Here are some of my favorite pieces from the last few days:
Salon | Scott Adams takes on Salon
This is an ongoing issue: that of Scott Adams being literally garbage. Best case scenario through that exchange, he comes out as a terrible writer and way emotionally stunted.
NY Review of Books | The Busts Keep Getting Bigger: Why?
Paul Krugman and Robin Wells review Age of Greed, a book that I now want. There's also some decent discussion of the financial crisis contained within the review, so, really, it's a two for one deal.
New Yorker | Obama and Gay Marriage
Article calls for Obama to be a good guy. This will not happen, but it's sweet to see.
Atlanta Journal-Constitution | State officials reaping what they have sown
Apparently kicking out the pool of easily-exploitable labor does bad things to our 'standard of living.' It's alright: just jerk people around, push for abolishing the minimum wage, and get some red-blooded American wage slaves!
And to make this a multimedia extravaganza:

Nice. Nice.
