Are the following quotes from Free Republic, home of nutso conservatism on the web, Stormfront, the largest online white supremacist hangout, or comment sections on mainstream news sites? Let’s play a game! Select between the asterisks following each quote to find out!

Once upon a time, some states required voters to pass a literacy test in an effort to prevent blacks from voting. Sad but true. Would it still be racist to have a civics test? I don't think so. One should be applied not only to those in the voting booth, but also to those seeking office as well. Isn't it reasonable that you should know something about our democratic republic form of government before you mess with it?

If a civics test kept more blacks (or hispanics, or old folks, or gays) from voting than it did whites, then it would be considered “racist.”
That is one of the reasons I have less and less problem with some or something being “racist.”

Yeah I am from Chicago, where you can't legally carry a gun but you should be able to. I moved out of that forsaken state. Even Peoria which is also in IL, is having problems with packs of blacks. I'd like to know how many of these kids' parents are on welfare.

This is domestic terrorism plain and simple. Stop foreign aid, stop welfare, and bring our troops back to clean up our own house.

The criminals who terrorize our cities -- in riots and on every non-riot day -- are not exclusively young black males, but they largely are. Two weeks ago, I was waiting at a stoplight when I saw a van load of Mestizos pull up into an abandoned gas station lot. Two got out and put a wire frame in the ground near the intersection and placed on it a big, ugly cardboard sign with crudely formed letters saying "Garage Sale" and an arrow pointing towards it (though no address - probably too illiterate for that). I circled the block, and when I came back around they had already left. I pulled into the lot, got out, and whistling a happy little tune, walked over and ripped that sign out of the ground and took it home and threw it away.

Told you it was a small thing. I enjoyed doing it however. No garage sale sign for you, Pedro. I have a sign for all these brown interlopers though, and it of course involves one finger.

By their very presence, illegals evince an utter contempt for America, Americans and our sacrosanct rule of law which uniquely defines the American way of life.
We do not need, nor do we want on US soil, those who are all too willing to destroy Western civilization, and our democracy, for their own self-serving ends.
Those duped by the "here for a better life" scam need to get real. Illegals only look like they're mowing loans, pumping gas, or flipping hamburgers.......the main occupation of these hyphenated-separatists is creating chaos to divert attention from the Third World they are building on US soil.

In a previous post I talked about how California seems to be in the process of annexation by Mexico. I am fearing for my own state of Oregon because I see the illegal aliens starting to colonize the cities and towns up here.

I am increasingly running into articles and videos showing Whites being attacked or verbally abused by illegals or their offspring…

Why do we put up with this abuse? Have we no honor? Or are we just afraid to be called racist for defending ourselves?

We all know who MADE America what it is today, and we also know which group is receiving hefty tax dollar pay outs… so until the tables turn the only thing you should be saying is ‘thank you’ to all the hard working (whites) who gave you the life you now take for granted.

Not all nasty sentiments out there are so blatant, of course. Lee Atwater, awful though he was, explains it best:

You start out in 1954 by saying, "Nigger, nigger, nigger." By 1968 you can't say "nigger" — that hurts you. Backfires. So you say stuff like forced busing, states' rights and all that stuff. You're getting so abstract now [that] you're talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you're talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is [that] blacks get hurt worse than whites. And subconsciously maybe that is part of it. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying that if it is getting that abstract, and that coded, that we are doing away with the racial problem one way or the other. You follow me — because obviously sitting around saying, "We want to cut this," is much more abstract than even the busing thing, and a hell of a lot more abstract than "Nigger, nigger."

This is how the current framing makes cuts that will hurt millions of vulnerable people ('others') in order to further provide for the powerful possible. This is how, as Atwater said, we end up with extreme abstraction that is expressed in more presentable forms, like this letter to the editor:

There is no reason our government should not be run as any successful business is run. That is, there should be a favorable return on the money spent. This does not preclude spending money to get folks back on their feet again (e.g., unemployment insurance), but it should not provide for a way of life (e.g., welfare without some amount of work to earn it.)

I am not in favor of class warfare currently being waged by those who feel the wealthy should hand over more of their money to be wastefully spent by our government. Statistics show that these very same wealthy individuals are entrepreneurs and business owners that provide jobs and real economic growth for our country. They will spend their wealth much more intelligently and effectively than will our federal government. It is our government's responsibility to maintain an environment conducive to the generation of wealth for that purpose and for an enduring better way of life for future generations.
